Inspiring the next generation of problem-solvers.
BASE events inspire problem-solving and teamwork while raising funds that go directly into running the festival — awards, materials, and everything competitors need to have a great experience. Our goal is to ensure every student has an opportunity to explore science, technology, engineering, and math.
Student-Led
Founded and run entirely by high school students who believe in giving back to younger learners in their community.
Hands-On Learning
Competitions are designed to be fun and educational — testing knowledge AND applying it to real challenges.
Fully Transparent
100% of registration fees fund the festival directly. No money goes to any individual — it all goes toward making the event great.

How we use registration fees
B.A.S.E. is completely volunteer-run by students. The $10 registration fee per competitor covers the cost of running the festival — including awards, event supplies, tables, and materials needed for each competition. No funds are distributed to any individual or external cause.
