Students compete individually or in teams across science, math, engineering, and technology challenges tailored to their grade division.
From catapult building to bridge construction, events are designed to be engaging, educational, and fun for participants of all skill levels.
Spelling bees, STEM knowledge tests, and on-site building challenges reward academic preparation and quick thinking.
Top performers in each event and division are recognized with awards. All participants receive an experience worth celebrating.
B.A.S.E. is a student-led nonprofit. All registration revenue goes directly toward funding the festival itself โ awards, event materials, tables, and supplies โ so students have the best possible experience.
Any student currently in grades 3 through 9. Competitors are divided into two divisions: Grades 3โ6 and Grades 7โ9.
Registration is $10 per competing student, paid through our Zeffy page. There is no cost for family members or spectators.
Every dollar goes toward running the festival โ awards, event materials, venue setup, and supplies. B.A.S.E. is entirely volunteer-run and no funds go to any individual.

Yes, once a student is registered for the festival, they can compete in as many of the events in their division as they want. A schedule of the competition day will be released in June, and all the events run throughout the day and do not overlap.
